Social Circus

Changing our community with circus

At CirqueLouis our goal with social circus to is to promote teamwork that helps foster self-esteem and, eventually, creative output. We strive to provide alternative and artistic physical activity promoting trust, confidence and compassion.

•Annual cost: $3500

•Associate membership with American Youth Circus Organization

•Only social circus program in the city

•7 previous participants in our major productions around Louisville

UNICYCLE PROJECT

Over the years CirqueLouis has periodically offered workshops and classes in circus arts free of charge to our community

•Walden High school - free Juggling and Unicycling workshops

•Collaboration with PeteFest, (The Pete Foundation)/now "The Stomp" to raise awareness for mental health advocacy

•Social Circus day - free workshops open to our community

CIRQUELOUIS ORIGINAL PRODUCTIONs

Summer shows at Iroquois amphitheater (2016, 2017 and 2018)

•Fall shows at the Kentucky center (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019)

•30 local circus arts performing artists participating annually (2015-19)

•Hundreds of appearances and events throughout our community that showcase our local talent such as Kentucky Opera, Kentucky WeDay, Art Sanctuary, Waterfront Botanical Gardens, Paristown, Louisville Ballet camps, LVA’s Art Squared and Fund For The Arts Opening Night event.
